Mother's Day Weekend at The Diving Horse

We're opening early this year to celebrate Mother's Day weekend in Avalon! We'll be open on Friday, May 10th and Saturday May 11th, serving a three course prix fixe dinner for $65 per person. We'll also be open on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12th, for brunch, serving a two course prix fixe menu for $45 per person. There will be a children's menu available for both dinner and brunch. First 

TDH WEDGE SALAD - jumbo lump crab, tomato, prosciutto, pickled onion, 7 mile island dressing 

GARDEN STATE GREEN SALAD - roasted beets, almonds, radish, feta & citrus vinaigrette

NEW JERSEY SEAFOOD BISQUE - grilled shrimp, potato, onion

LOBSTER SALAD - brioche toast, chives, lemon aioli (supplementary charge +$15)


Second 

CAPE MAY POINT SCALLOPS - spring onion pesto, charred spring onions, fava beans

LOCAL 130 DAILY CATCH - warm wild rice & mushroom salad, grilled asparagus

BRAISED SHORT RIB - scalloped potatoes, stewed New Jersey greens, red wine tomato sauce 

GEMELLI PASTA - asparagus, fines herb compound butter, pecorino

TDH KIT KAT - butterscotch, seasonal fruit

SWEET CREAM PANNA COTTA - pistachio crumble, honey drizzle

UPSIDE DOWN CAKE - whipped cream, seasonal fruit

SPRING VEGETABLE FRITTATA  - asparagus, potatoes, spring onions, arugula

SMOKED TROUT - herbed cream cheese, pickled onions & beets, spring green salad, grilled bread

SAUSAGE GRAVY TOAST -  fennel breakfast sausage gravy, braised greens, poached eggs
